My tile has many different types of the coil techniques that we learned. It includes long coils, short coils, spirals, circles, and a simple shape (square). I was able to incorporate all these onto my tile by crossing some over each other, and making different sizes, so they all fit.
The elements of design I used were shape, line, form, space, and texture. They were all used in the making of my many coils that I included.
There wasn’t really a meaning or purpose behind my tile. I wanted to make it as abstract as possible. To do that, I just put a lot of random coils all over the 5x5 tile to make it look as cool as possible.
I ended up really liking my tile. My favorite part was how I was able to cross some coils over each other, and it ended up looking really good. Of course, there were some flaw, but I was content with how it looked.
